Top Sound Systems and Selectors for Arthur Guiness Celebration

Some of Jamaica's top sound systems and selectors will join a galaxy of stars on Saturday October 23 for the Arthur Guinness Celebration slated for the National Stadium in Kingston Jamaica.
Booked for the world class one night Reggae Hip Hop and Dancehall celebration are the year to year sound Metro Media, Coppershot, Passa Passa sound Swatch International, and the musical war sound Bass Odyssey.
The selectors who will be adding their touch to the quality event are Richie Feelings and Boom Boom.
The unique line-up of musical maestro's will join a stellar lineup of artistes, including dancehall's finest Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Lady Saw, Wayne Wonder as well as internationally acclaimed Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean and Mr Lover Lover Shaggy.
Each sound system and selector has been chosen to add a unique flavor to the world class event, as 36 year - veteran Metro Media with the likes of Sky Juice and Oliver will be revving up the masses with their unique dub plates and selecting style.
Coppershot, with Small Voice, Cutty and Mark Chin will be bringing the uptown flavor with their slew of remixes while Passa Passa sound Swatch International will be sure to cap off the hardcore dancehall segment with the grass- roots vibe.
The greatness will be personified with the Guinness Sounds of Greatness champion Bass Odyssey who recently returned from the UK where they won the UK Tag team Cup, beating veteran David Rodigan and One Love in an International sound clash.
Former Stone Love selector Richie Feelings will also be bringing the energy on stage along with Boom Boom who is known for his energetic performances.
All selectors and sound systems will have a unique view of the entire venue from their pedestal. Perched high above the audience on National Stadium infield, the musical mavericks will be juggling the greatest songs on the "ones and twos".
Persons can win tickets to the Arthur Guinness Celebration by texting the code under the specially marked Guinness crowns to 44GREAT (444-7328). Winners will receive a text within two days notifying them.
Another way to win a ticket to the celebration is by redeeming four of the specially marked crowns at any Red Stripe Distribution Centre and at Shell and Cool Oasis service stations island wide.
Winners must present valid ID and the specially marked crowns to claim tickets. Up to 250 tickets can be won daily. October 21 will be the final day to claim tickets.
