Persons eagerly anticipating the Arthur Guinness celebrations can now keep track of all the breaking news around the event, as Guinness Caribbean has set up a Facebook page to share the fun and excitement of the stellar celebrations.
The Facebook page which is already creating a buzz on the social network website has a wealth of information regarding the 2010 Arthur Guinness Celebrations set for Saturday October 23 at the National Stadium in Kingston Jamaica.
Fans can log on and peruse music videos, TV Commercial, images, artwork and facts regarding the celebrations of the 251 years anniversary of the brewing company.
"The Guinness Caribbean Facebook page is offering exclusive artiste interviews and tickets giveaways for the Arthur Guinness Celebrations" said Guinness brand manager Gary Dixon. "A good portion of our customers communicate via the social media and we're taking the Guinness experience to them".
The page also includes jingles produced specifically for Arthur Guinness Celebration.
Facebook users are also encouraged to post their own comments and images of their Guinness experiences and with that, lucky persons could win many of the exciting daily prizes, including concert tickets, which will be on offer.
This page is intended for 18 years and over and as always Guinness encourages persons to drink responsibly.
Persons can we tickets to the Arthur Guinness Celebration by texting the code under the specially marked Guinness crowns to 44GREAT (444-7328). Winners will receive a text within two days notifying them.
Another way to win a ticket to the celebration is by redeeming four of the specially marked crowns at any Red Stripe Distribution Centre and at Shell and Cool Oasis service stations island-wide.
Winners must preset valid ID and the specially marked crowns to claim tickets. Up to 250 tickets can be won daily. Thursday October 21 will be the final day to claim tickets.
